Porkie

When two specific breeds are purposely crossed to create a new breed, the result is a hybrid, or designer dog. In the case of a porkie, the two breeds that are crossed are the Yorkshire terrier and the Pomeranian. Like many hybrids, the porkie was created in the United States. The American Kennel Club has not yet recognized most hybrids, including the porkie.

The Porkie is a cross between a Pomeranian and a Yorkshire Terrier. Since they are not purebred dogs, their appearance can vary from dog to dog.
