We are a licensed national insurance agency and act as agent of record for pet insurance carriers. We do not underwrite or issue policies; policies are owned and administered by the issuing carrier. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, your privacy rights, and how to contact us.

We automatically collect technical identifiers such as IP address, device type, browser information, operating system, timestamps, and referring URLs when you access our website. We use this information for security, fraud prevention, system integrity, analytics, debugging, compliance monitoring, and to improve our services.

Not a sale of data: We do not sell personal information for money. Marketing partners do not receive information necessary to complete insurance transactions and may not use shared data for their own independent purposes. We share personal information with carriers solely to fulfill quotes, applications, and policy binding. Where applicable privacy laws treat some advertising or disclosures as a “sale” or “share,” you can opt out.

Use of our services is also subject to our Terms & Conditions, which govern your use of the site, disclaim warranties, limit liability, and include dispute resolution terms. By using our services, you agree to both this Privacy Policy and the Terms & Conditions.

1) California 'Notice at Collection'

We collect categories of personal information including identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation, and sensitive personal information (such as payment card information or tokens, where applicable). We use this data for quotes, applications, billing, fraud prevention, and compliance. We do not sell personal information for money, but may share it for digital advertising where permitted by law. You may opt out of such sharing.

2) What We Collect and From Whom

We collect categories of personal information including identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation, and sensitive personal information (such as payment card information or tokens, where applicable). 3) Why We Use Personal Information (Purposes)

We use information for quotes, policy binding, payments, communications, security, compliance, analytics, operations, and legal obligations. We may also use your information to provide policy documents and legally required communications electronically unless you request paper copies where available.

4) How We Share Personal Information

We share information with carriers, service providers, marketing partners (opt-out available), legal or regulatory bodies, and in connection with business transfers.

When sharing IP addresses or other technical identifiers, we do so only with service providers and partners bound by contractual confidentiality, security, and data protection obligations.

Payment card information submitted through our website is collected solely for the purpose of processing the requested transaction and is protected using appropriate security measures during transmission.

In limited circumstances, and due to technical constraints of certain third-party carrier systems, authorized personnel may manually enter payment card information into a carrier-provided secure platform to complete the transaction.

Payment card information is not retained on our systems. Such information is accessed only by trained and authorized personnel, used exclusively for transaction fulfillment, and permanently deleted immediately following successful processing.

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect payment card information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.

5) Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential services, analytics, and advertising. IP addresses and related technical identifiers may be processed in connection with cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. Where required by law, such processing is subject to user consent and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Where required, consent is obtained through a website banner.

6) Your Privacy Choices & Rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP, request placement on our Do Not Call list, and manage advertising preferences. Where required by law, a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal will be treated as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

7) U.S. State Privacy Rights Notice

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights including access, correction, deletion, portability, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, the right to opt out of profiling, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We provide a webform, email address, and toll-free phone number to submit requests.

8) Children’s Data

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. We do not sell or share personal information of minors under the age of 16.

Certain data processing activities may fall under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and applicable state insurance privacy laws. These laws may exempt certain insurance-related data processing activities from state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and the CPRA.

Website analytics, marketing, and advertising data that are not collected in connection with an insurance transaction may still be subject to applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

10) Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These safeguards include encryption, secure systems, access controls, and PCI-DSS compliant processing where applicable.

No data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100 percent secure.
