Sagging Belly

Sagging Belly

The cat or dog has a droopy belly or sagging belly, this is perfectly normal in cats and is known as a primordial pouch. The primordial pouch provides extra protection to cats during fights with other felines. It also allows more freedom of movement to cats when they are in full stride. On the other hand, when dogs develop a sagging belly, it is often a symptom of Cushing's disease or lactation. Sagging bellies can also develop after pets have become spayed or neutered.

Pet Insurance

When adding a dog or cat to your family you want to make sure your pet is happy, healthy and protected. During its lifetime your pet is exposed to many illnesses and diseases and some breeds are affected by a congenital disease which is a condition existing at birth. At these moments when your pet is ill or maybe needs surgery, you want to be protected for the unexpected and high veterinarian costs.
