Decrease of residual muscle tension or tonus of the pet. Loss of muscle tone in pets, formally known as muscular atrophy, is a condition that can cause dogs and cats' muscles to weaken or waste away. It is typically most obvious in the hind legs and/or hips and occurs most often in senior dogs and cats.
