An open sore in the lining of the stomach, also called Stomach Ulcer and Peptic Ulcer. Stomach ulcers can be caused by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen. Other possible causes can be liver diseases, kidney diseases, and chronic gastritis. Stomach ulcers require surgery, and it is therefore advised to consult your veterinarian as soon as possible.
