The Yorktese is a toy hybrid dog breed resulting from the cross of the the Yorkshire Terrier and the Maltese. These tiny dogs reach no more than 10 inches in height and have long, straight, and silky coats that come in a variety of different colors, including black, tan, white, and tan.

Behaviour and Personality
Yorktese dogs are very affectionate, friendly, loving, and loyal. They can make great additions to families, forming strong bonds to their people and becoming upset if left alone for extended periods of time. Although they make for devoted pets, they can be somewhat difficult to train, requiring patience and consistency from the owner. Yorktese are perfect for apartment living and will burn off much of their energy indoors, but could become destructive if ignored.
