The Yorkie Russell is a mixed breed dog resulting from the cross of the Yorkshire Terrier and the Jack Russell Terrier. Standing up to 14 inches in height and weighing up to 17 pounds, the Yorkie Russell is a wonderful lap dog. They have smooth, silky, and straight coats that come in a variety of colors, including black, white, brown, and tan color mixtures.

Behaviour and Personality
Yorkie Russells are very friendly and typically love everyone they meet, but are especially affectionate with their families. Their favorite activities generally involve cuddling and running around. They have average intelligence and require firm, fair, and consistent training and socialization early on. They are very energetic, playful, and livley little dogs, but can burn off energy with average amounts of exercise and are well suited for apartment dwelling.
