Wolamute Build Information
A Wolamute is a hybrid dog, being a cross between an Alaskan Malamute and a Timber Wolf, and is one of the oldest cross-breed dogs in America. Similar to its Gray Wolf parent, the Wolamute has pointy ears, a thick coat of fur, and salt & pepper markings. It will live 10 to 15 years and at maturity, can weigh anywhere between 115 and 175 lbs.

Behaviour and Personality
A very large dog, the Wolamute is also very intelligent, protective, territorial, and trainable. It is very loyal and affectionate toward owners, but does not alert when strangers approach, so the Wolamute is not really suitable as a watchdog. They require a good deal of exercise, and if left alone for long periods of time, restlessness may develop into destructive behavior.
