West Siberian Laika Build Information

The West Siberia Laika, sometimes referred to as the WSL or Zapadno-Sibirskaia Laika, is a large, purebred hunting dog developed in Russia by indigenous Siberian people. They are medium to large size dog with a triangular shaped head, strong body, pointy ears and well developed chest has dense, double layered coat that is white, red, grizzle, or gray.

Behaviour and Personality

These dogs are very self-confident, lively, and intelligent and will be fiercely loyal to their family. They can be territorial and protective, possibly aggressive and capable of defending itself, though they will never start a fight themselves. Intelligent and eager to learn, these dogs train easily under gentle trainer. They are very energetic and must be given lots of exercise to burn off their extra energy.
