The Utonagan is a dog originally bred in England by crossing the Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute, and German Shepherd. Although there is no wolf lineage in them, they have similar large, strong, and muscular bodies with dense, soft coats that come in gray, brown, silver, and white.

Behaviour and Personality

Intelligent and friendly, they tend to get along well with people of all ages and can be trained to do many tasks. These energetic dogs do best under calm, consistent, and firm owners. Utonagan dogs are not recommended for apartment living or warm climates due to their dense coats. Highly active, they need plenty of exercise, including daily walks and jogs, though they should not be exercised heavily in hot weather.
