The Torkie is a toy mixed breed that is a cross of a Toy Fox Terrier and a Yorkshire terrier. These are small dogs that typically weigh only 3 to 7 pounds. They have a short to long silky coat which requires occasional brushing. The colors they come in are black, black and tan, blue, brown, and white.

Behaviour and Personality
While they make great agility dogs, they can be difficult to train and are probably not the best choice for an inexperienced dog owner. The Torkie is also known for being intelligent and alert and is suitable for apartment dwellers as they don't need much exercise.
