The Silkchon is a small cross-breed of a Bichon Frise and a Silk Terrier. They may also be called a Silkychon. They have a soft long coat that may vary in texture from slightly curly to wavy or straight. This kind of coat requires daily brushing and occasional grooming.

Behaviour and Personality
Silkchons respond well to gentle training and require a moderate amount of exercise. They are suitable dogs for living in apartments or homes with a small yard. Caution is advised for homes with small children or other small animals as a Silkchon may not always get along with them if it takes after its Silk Terrier heritage. They are intelligent and quite affectionate as well as alert making the great watchdogs.
