The Shollie is the result of mixing a German Shepherd with a Collie. The average height of a Shollie is 21 to 29 inches and they weigh 70 to 80 pounds. Their coats are short to medium and smooth to silky. The color of their coats can be black, tan, cream, sable, yellow, white, and brown. Shedding is moderate and mostly seasonal and it’s best to brush them daily.

Behaviour and Personality

Shollies are high energy and will need plenty of exercise and room to run. They’re also highly intelligent and need the mental stimulation that comes from training. They do best with an active family who has experience with high energy dogs. They are multi-talented and do well at agility, obedience, hunting, and herding. They also make great watch and guard dogs.
