People like them because of their intelligence and temperament. This breed was developed some time in the 1980s. The aim was to have a dog that sheds little or no fur and is harmless to its owners. In terms of build, Schnoodles are classified as toy, miniature and standard. They weigh t between 2-45 pounds with a height range of 15-24 inches. The Schnoodles head has a round shape with almond-shaped eyes. Their ears are floppy and hanging downwards. The nose is mostly black in color. As for the coat, this will depend on the genes they inherit from their parent breed. If the dog leans heavily on the Schnauzer side, its coat will be rough. On the other hand, Poodle genes result in a curly coat.

Personality

Schnoodles are loving and fun to be with. They show a deep affection for children and other family members. When around little children, a Schnoodle is extremely kind. Their extra-ordinary intelligence allows them to learn and grasp things fast. This trait alone makes them highly trainable. While training a Schnoodle, you have to be gentle with the dog as it cannot withstand rough and harsh commands. The Schnoodle makes an ideal pet for the entire family. Appearance

A Schnoodle requires regular grooming. You should bathe them at least once a month. Brushing or combing their hair every day will leave them looking and feeling great. Check their ears and remove any dirt trapped there to prevent ear infections as they are common with this breed.
