This hybrid Pug and American Rat Terrier is an easy to care for breed. Weighing up to 25 pounds, the Puggat can be colored in different shades of black, white, brown and golden. Their coat is short and straight requiring light brushing and infrequent bathing.

Behaviour and Personality
While the Pug is a very sociable breed the Rat Terrier can be reserved and shy. Early socialization will help the Puggat be comfortable around people and other pets. Use only positive reinforcement and gentle praising to not impair their sensitive nature. Puggat require exercise and stimulation but in open areas should be leashed or their prey instinct may cause them to run away.
