The Porcelaine is a French hound dog that gets its name from its shiny coat. It’s said that they look just like a porcelain statue and that they seem to have a pale blue sheen. Their fur is short and white with occasional orange coloring mostly around their ears. Their coat is very fine and you can see their pale pink skin with dark mottling through their coat. Porcelaines are a medium size breed measuring 21 to 23 inches in height and weigh anywhere from 55 to 62 pounds.
