The poo-shi also goes by the names of shih-poo and poosh, and it is the hybrid cross of a poodle and a shih tzu. Poo-shis weigh between 13 and 20 pounds, and they stand between eight and 13 inches tall at their shoulders. Poo-shis have long coats that may be wavy or curly. They require moderate grooming efforts. Be aware that if a poo-shi inherits the shih tzu parent’s coat, there will be moderate shedding. Poo-shis are available in an array of color choices, including white, cream, apricot, red, sable, brown, black or black and tan.
