The Peke-Italian is the cross between the Pekingese and the Italian Greyhound. It is a small cross breed that weighs between six and 10 pounds when fully grown. It has a coat of medium-length fur that requires regular brushing to keep it in good shape.

Behaviour and Personality
The Peke-Italian is an intelligent, loving and loyal dog that loves to please its owners. It will require firm training to keep it from developing "small dog syndrome" in which it believes it is the aggressive pack leader of the family. The Peke-Italian requires regular exercise to keep it healthy, but since it is a small dog it is usually content to live in an apartment or smaller house.
