A papigriffon is a hybrid cross between a papillon and a Brussels griffon. The papigriffon weighs between six and 12 pounds. The coat is usually medium in length and may be black, brown or white. Moderate grooming is needed to keep the hair from tangling. Papigriffons shed very little. Depending on the inherited parent traits, the ears of a papigriffon may stand up, extend outward or flip downward.

These little dogs are energetic and playful, and they are fairly easy to train. Papigriffons can get along with children if they are socialized with them from an early age.
