Appearance
This breed is known for having a lot of hair. They require constant upkeep or their hair becomes tangles, and they look untidy. Brushing the coat is important to remove excess dirt and oil from their hair. Bathing too frequently can dry out their skin under the coat as it washes away their natural oil. Twice a year they will need to have their coat hand stripped or clipped. Since they do have a lot of fur, they don’t do well in warmer climates.
