The Lha-Basset is a cross between the Lhasa Apso and the Basset Hound. It is a medium-sized cross breed that can weigh anywhere from 18 to 50 pounds and stand 15 inches tall when fully grown. It has a dense coat of rough fur that requires moderate grooming to look its best.

Behaviour and Personality
The Lha-Basset is affectionate, alert, loyal and social, but it can also be very stubborn and difficult to train. It takes a lot of patience to train a Lha-Basset, so it may not be a good choice for a first-time dog owner. Lha-Bassets do make good watchdogs however, and they are good with children.
