La Pom Build Information
The La Pom is a mixture of the Pomeranian and Lhasa Apso breeds. These small dogs have double coats that are long and coarse on top and soft and shorter on the undercoat. They come in many colors, ranging from solids to tri-color, typically in shades of white, cream, red, gold, tan, blue, or black mixtures.
Behaviour and Personality
Perfect for households with little space, La Poms are cheerful, lively dogs that become very attached to their owners. Alert and protective, they can be good watch dogs, but their barking could be irritating. They have a tendency to be stubborn and should be trained with short, consistent sessions that are reward based. While they need little space, they do enjoy walking and should be taken for short walks regularly.
