King Schnauzer Build Information

The King Schnauzer is a small hybrid dog created from the crossing of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with the Miniature Schnauzer. Standing no more than 14 inches, these dogs are well proportioned with athletic bodies and strong, straight legs. They have a long, rough double coat that ranges in color from salt and pepper to black and white, parti colored or white with black, brown, or red.

Behaviour and Personality

King Schnauzers are fun loving, happy dogs that tend to be family oriented and enjoy spending time with their families, including children and other pets. They do have some hunting instincts and should be kept fenced in to prevent them from chasing rodents. Highly intelligent and eager to please, they train up easily despite some dogs being stubborn. King Schnauzers need lots of running and play opportunities to satisfy their energy levels.
