The Jarkie is a hybrid dog created though the crossing of the Japanese Chin and Yorkshire Terrier. These tiny dogs reach no more than 11 inches and weigh up to 20 pounds. Their fine, sooth, silky coats come in many different colors, including black, tan, white, and blue color mixtures.

Behaviour and Personality
Jarkie dogs are known to be loving, affectionate, and very family oriented, enjoying best the time they spend with their owners. Their protective and alert natures can make them good watchdogs, though owners may wish to train them to bark less. Somewhat stubborn, training of a Jarkie requires patience and persistence. Although most of their exercise needs can be met with indoor activities, these dogs enjoy daily walks.
