Irish Mastiff Build Information

The Irish Mastiff is a large hybrid dog resulting from the cross of the Mastiff and the Irish Wolfhound. They stand roughly 38 inches in height and may be anywhere from 120-250 pounds. Their coat may either be medium length and rough or fine and short, coming in many colors such as black, tan, gray, silver, white, and red.

Behaviour and Personality

These gentle giants are very loving and loyal dogs with easy-going and even-tempered personalities, making them great additions to families. Being eager to please, Irish Mastiffs make for relatively easy training. Although very large, these dogs don’t need excessive amounts of exercise and will stay healthy with normal levels of exercise.
