Behaviour and Personality

Imo-Inu dogs are very intelligent, loving, and loyal dogs that are both independent and social. These dogs make wonderful family pets, but should be socialized early on to be around children and other pets. Given their independent streak and willful attitude, they may be somewhat difficult to train and will need firm, consistent positive reinforcement training. A fair amount of exercise, including play sessions and daily walks, is needed for these dogs to stay happy and healthy.
