The Great Bernese is a giant hybrid dog created from the crossing of the Bernese Mountain and Great Pyrenees purebreds. They reach up to 32 inches in height and weight anywhere from 80 to 120 pounds. Their dense, long double coat is water-resistant and comes in a wide range of colors such as black, brown, gray, red, and white.

Behaviour and Personality
Great Bernese dogs are generally very loyal, loving, and intelligent dogs. They make great family pets and tend to very devoted to their family, but may show signs of wariness around strangers. Their intelligence makes them easy to train, but they need a firm hand and strong owner who isn’t afraid to be in charge. These dogs are only suitable to families with large houses and a yard as they are large and energetic.
