Behaviour and Personality
German Shorthaired Labs are social and cheerful dogs that enjoy spending time with their people. They can be great family pets, being both playful and gentle with children and even-tempered. This dog doesn’t like being alone and should not be left alone for long periods of time or it may develop undesirable behaviors. Training must be innovative to keep these intelligent dogs from getting bored. Plenty of physical and mental stimulation is a must to keep up with the high energy levels of the German Shorthaired Lab.
