Crested Schnauzer Build Information

The Crested Schnauzer comes from the crossing of the Chinese Crested with the Miniature Schnauzer. These small dogs are most commonly hairless, similar to the Chinese Crested, with the strong, squared muzzle and furry face of the Minature Schnauzer, though they may have long, soft fur in a few different color variations including pale pink to black, off-white, and gray.

Behaviour and Personality

They are very energetic, smart, playful, and friendly dogs, particularly enjoying hunting vermin. Crested Schnauzers love to eat so food intake should be monitored and care needs to be taken to prevent sunburn on hairless dogs. They are fast and energetic, requiring daily exercise.
