Colonial Cocker Spaniel Build Information

The Colonial Cocker Spaniel is the resulting hybrid breed from the crossing of the Cocker Spaniel with the English Cocker Spaniel. They are medium in size, with medium length coats that are soft and silky with dense undercoats. Their coloration varies greatly with black, liver, red, tan, and mixes of these appear commonly.

Behaviour and Personality

Colonial Cocker Spaniels inherit many highly desirable qualities, including being very social, loving, and gentle. Their cheerful personalities and patience makes them excellent choices for families with small children. They are also highly trainable and respond well to gentleness and rewards in training. Colonial Cocker Spaniels need daily brisk walks and prefer houses with yards, though apartments can suffice given proper exercise.
