Behaviour and Personality
Chow Chows and German Shepherds are usually not thought of in the same way, so one gets the best of both worlds in this fascinating mix. As the parent breeds have a number of great features to them, the Chow Shepherd has the loyalty and aloofness of the Chow Chow but are much closer to the larger and distinctive build of a German Shepherd. Chow Shepherds have a much easier coat to maintain than a Chow Chow, and the coat will usually display coloration closer to that of a Shepherd.
