The chipin is a mixed breed that is a cross between a chihuahua and a miniature pinscher. Chipins are small dogs that weigh between 5 and 18 pounds and are between 8 and 12 inches long. They are very healthy dogs overall, but they can be prone to joint problems in the knees.
