The Cairnese is the cross hybrid mix of the Cairn Terrier and Havanese purebreds. They are small dogs with flappy ears and thick, double layered fur that's either curly or straight, but normally comes in a sand-like color and various browns.

Behaviour and Personality

Cairnese dogs have very friendly and social personalities and easily get along as family pets and are perfectly suited for companionship, loving to please their owners. Being intelligent, these dogs can be easily trained with a consistent and firm hand. Apartment dwelling is perfectly fine for these dogs and despite being very lively and energetic, they can burn it off in indoor play sessions and moderate exercise.
