The Boxer Basset traces its lineage to the Boxer and the Basset Hound. As a result, the dog has the toe nails and solid build of the former, while possessing the gallop and looping run of the latter. Weighing around 50 to 75 pounds when fully grown, the Boxer Basset is usually fawn in color, with a little white on the feet and belly. Long, short, and muscular, the dog is a great family pet due to its energy and playfulness.
