The Bordernese is the designer mix of the Border Collie and Bernese Mountain dog that can be medium to large-sized with medium length muzzles, dark eyes, and floppy ears. Their coats are long and usually black with white ruffs and occasional brown spots on the face.

Behaviour and Personality
They make wonderful family dogs, being gentle, loving, and protective with their people. Bordernese dogs are very smart as well, easy to train and constantly need new tricks to keep them from getting bored. Their energy levels are quite high and they require a good deal of exercise and play on a daily basis.
