The Border Jack is the result of the crossing of the Border Collie and Jack Russell Terrier. It is a medium dog with a dense double coat that varies in length and comes in a variety of color combinations including brown/white, tricolor, blue, brindle, the most frequently in a black/white combo.

Behaviour and Personality

Border Jacks are made for the outdoors and will be unhappy spending time inside with little to do. They are highly trainable, easily adding new skills to their instinctive ones which include hunting and herding. Their extremely high levels of energy require the owner to spend a minimum of an hour exercising them through running, agility courses, or tricks.
