The Bohemian Shepherd, also known as the Chodsky Pes or Chodenhund, is a medium sized dog breed. Their coats are long and thick, with rich undercoats to protect against winter. Bohemian Shepherds are well-proportioned dogs with small erect ears and a long, elegant neckline, usually with black and tan fur. They are believed to be the parent breed of the German shepherd.
