The Basston is the resulting hybrid breed of the cross between the Boston Terrier and the Basset Hound. They are medium sized dogs with short, fine coats that generally come in white with sand, brown, or chestnut markings.

These dogs are very intelligent and easily trainable, making for good family dogs. Their personalities tend to be loving and caring, with very minimal aggression, though they display some degree of stubbornness when it comes to housebreaking.
