Bassetoodles are the hybrid cross between the Basset Hound and the Poodle. They are a medium sized dog, with long and low bodies, thick, wiry, double coated fur that is typically black, brown, tan, or white.

Behaviour and Personality

These dogs have are very curious and like to follow scents. Sometimes they display high degrees of stubbornness and, though they can be easy to train, they require a firm hand. Bassetoodles also make for wonderful family additions, being very loving and friendly. They require regular brushing to remain tangle free and prevent shedding. Plenty of exercise and play is recommended for these dogs as they have a lot of energy.
