The West Highland Doxie is a small hybrid dog created by mixing the Dachshund and the West Highland Terrier. Reaching heights no greater than 11 inches, they have medium to long coats that are typically white but may be brown, tan, or black with solid spots.

Behaviour and Personality
They are friendly, highly social dogs that love to bark at everything. Although they are highly affectionate and sociable with family, they can sometimes be somewhat aggressive. These dogs are well-suited for busy owners as they require relatively little exercise. West Highland Doxies are also very adaptable to apartment living and don’t require a yard to run around in. Training these dogs is fairly simple as they are quite smart and eager to please.
