Also known as a blue heeler or a Queensland Heeler, the Texas Heeler is a mixed breed made by crossing the Australian cattle dog with the Australian shepherd dog.They are hard workers that enjoy having a job to do. Their lifespan runs an average of 12-15 years. They grow to a height of 17-22 inches and a weight of 25-50 pounds. The short to medium length coat comes in a variety of colors including black, blue ticked and white.
