The Golden Boxer is a hybrid mix of the Boxer and the Golden Retriever. These dogs are medium to large in size that inherit either the dense, double coats of the Retriever or the short, smooth coat of the Boxer. Their coloration is most frequently in combinations of gold, black, and fawn.

Golden Boxers are very friendly, even-tempered dogs that make loyal family pets and good, gentle playmates for children. They are intelligent and social, but show weariness around strangers. Golden Boxers are easy to train and respond best to reward based training. Their energy levels are high, daily walks and playtime are a must to release their energy and prevent destructive behaviors.
