They were created primarily for military use and have well-defined muscles, sturdy bone structure and confident personalities. Typically their dense coat is black, black and tan, blue, and white.

Behaviour and Personality

East-European Shepherds are often used as guard dogs, being fierce and courageous as well as loyal to their master, this dog will protect its family at all costs. They are well mannered, but may be dangerous around small children due to their size and playfulness. Obedience and training should be no problem; they are extremely intelligent and eager to follow commands. Lots of exercise and long daily walks are absolutely necessary for this high energy breed.
