Daugs are small hybrid dogs created from mixing the Dachshund and Pug pure breeds. These small dogs inherit traits from both parents and can come with fine and wiry coats that take on a variety colors such as black, black and tan, brown and silver, and other mixtures.

Behaviour and Personality

Daugs can make good family pets as they are similar to Pugs in enjoying amusing their owners. They are eager to please, being very affectionate and eager for attention. Interactions with children and other pets should be supervised as some inherit dominant traits from the Dachshund. Training should begin as early as possible as they can be stubborn or willful in regards to house-training, though they are intelligent and learn easily enough. Moderate amounts of exercise are required for these lively little dogs.
