While the breeds that make up the Airedoodle date back centuries, the Airedoodle itself is relatively new. Part of the designer dog craze – where two full breed dogs are bred to make a hybrid dog – Airedoodles have grown in popularity over the past few decades.

Behaviour and Personality
Airedoodles are known as being easily trained: they listen to commands, learn tricks, and obey their owners so effortlessly that they are recommended for first time dog owners. Still, they can grow stubborn if not socialized properly. Because of their large size and high energy level, they do best in homes with yards; they are not all that adaptable to apartment living. However, they can adapt to weather and are able to handle both hot and cold temperatures. Airedoodles have a reputation for being both friendly and loveable; they thrive on being with people. They are also intelligent, a trait that helps them get along with their fellow household pets. Typically, they are good with children, though this depends on how the particular dog was raised. They have a life expectancy between ten and fifteen years.

Airedoodle Common Health Conditions
Airedoodles are healthy dogs, perhaps, in part, because they are not purebred; with a more varied gene pool, they are much less likely to have genetic problems than their purebred counterparts (particularly if they are second or third generations). Still, these dogs may experience tooth infection and ear infection on occasion. Regularly cleaning can help prevent these issues from arising. They may also experience weight problems if they are not properly exercised; they must lead active lifestyles in order to maintain their shape.
Airedoodle Pet Insurance
When adding a dog or cat to your family you want to make sure your pet is happy, healthy and protected. During its lifetime your pet is exposed to many illnesses and diseases and some breeds are affected by a congenital disease which is a condition existing at birth. At these moments when your pet is ill or maybe needs surgery, you want to be protected for the unexpected and high veterinarian costs.
