Seidenspitz Build Information
The seidenspitz is one of the oldest hybrid dog breeds, and it originated in Germany during the 1800s. A seidenspitz is a cross between a Maltese and a Pomeranian. The toy-sized dog weighs between three and seven pounds and stands between nine and 14 inches tall at the shoulder. The seidenspitz is clad in a silky long coat of straight hair that is white or black in color. The coat must be brushed regularly to prevent tangling and matting. The ears are pointed and stand erect.
