A Schnekingese is a designer cross breed, resulting from the mix of a Miniature Schnauzer and a Pekingese. It can be expected to live between 12 and 15 years, and to achieve an adult weight of 10-20 lbs. Colors are most often black, brown, white, and combinations of these colors. It has a short, wiry upper coat, and a softer coat underneath that.

Behaviour and Personality
It's very trainable and reasonably intelligent, and very friendly toward others, so it can be a good family pet. It has a tendency to bark a lot, especially when playing, but will not usually bark to alert for intruders, so the Schnekingese is not very well suited for watchdog duties.
