The Golden Pei is the resulting hybrid dog of a mix between the Golden Retriever and the Chinese Shar Pei. These dogs are large in size, with up to 24 inches in height and weighing 75 pounds. Their coats may either be dense or fine and short with color mixtures of black, brown, red, and yellow.

Behaviour and Personality
Golden Peis have loving and loyal personalities and show plenty of affection towards their owners as well as strangers. They are very gentle and even-tempered and can be great for families with children and other pets. However, owners of Golden Peis must be assertive and be clear pack leaders. These dogs train up fairly easily, but require a consistent and firm hand. They need a moderate amounts of exercise and play to satisfy their energy levels.
