The Cockinese is the the hybrid breed resulting from the of mixing of the Cocker Spaniel and Pekingnese purebreds. They are small dogs that take on either the medium length, silky coat of the Cocker Spaniel or the long, rough coat of the Pekingnese. Colorations vary and may include black, tan, brown, red, and white.

Behaviour and Personality
Cockinese dogs are very friendly and social dogs that make for great family pets thanks to their patience around children and loyal behavior. These dogs, however, can be very independent and show willfulness. For this reason they require firm and consistent training. Moderate amounts of exercise and regular walking are necessary for Cockinese dogs.
