They are fund dogs with personalities that tend to be affectionate and loving which makes them good for families with small children. Boston Spaniels have lots of energy and are highly intelligent. Training is relatively simple and these dogs love picking up new tricks to please their owners. Even though they are small, they do require lots daily long walks and play sessions to keep up with their energy levels.
